HIT Fitness Run Club Liability Waiver

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in activities with HIT Fitness Run Club, and I understand that running, jogging, and volunteering for organized group runs, social events, and races (collectively, “events”) may pose risks that could lead to injury or death. I will not participate in any Run Club event unless I am medically able, properly trained, and in good health. By agreeing to this waiver, I certify that I am physically fit to engage in these activities.

Assumption of Risk

I fully understand and accept all risks associated with participation in Run Club events, including but not limited to:

Slips, trips, and falls
Collisions with other participants, vehicles, or obstacles
The effects of extreme weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, or precipitation
Traffic hazards, uneven terrain, signage (or lack thereof), and unpredictable road or trail conditions

I knowingly accept and assume full responsibility for these risks and any potential injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of my participation.

Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Run Club events, I, for myself and anyone acting on my behalf, release and hold harmless HIT Fitness, its owners, employees, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, injuries, liabilities, or expenses that may arise from my participation, including any claims resulting from negligence or carelessness.

Medical Treatment Authorization

I authorize Run Club organizers and representatives to provide or seek medical assistance on my behalf if needed. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result of injury during my participation.

Agreement to Follow Safety Guidelines

I agree to abide by all Run Club safety rules and instructions provided by HIT Fitness. I understand that failure to do so may result in my removal from the club and its activities.
